Print four pages of pink and green circles and cut out. Print words and illustrations double sided and cut into cards. Put circles in two piles in front of child. Show the child the picture and read the word as one. “Cupcake.” The child’s job is to segment it into two words while physically representing the two words as well. “Cup” (put down pink circle) “cake” (put down green circle).
