Montessori Food Prep Mini Bundle
Montessori Food Prep Mini Bundle
This bundle includes:
Spin a Meal Game (M): Print on cardstock and laminate. This game works best with just two players. Print two copies of the plate. Using Velcro dots, place Velcro on spots on plate. Cut close to the edge of the food and place corresponding Velcro. Cut out the spinner and arrow. Punch a hole where indicated and using a paper fastener, create a spinner. Explain to children that all food provides us energy! Take turns spinning for a type of food (protein, sweets, starches, veggies, fruits, etc) to create a meal. This type of assembly of a plate encourages the idea that all food is good food and providing sweets alongside the main meal encourages balance! There is no winner, but two good meals!
Spring Tea How To Book (M): I like printing and assembling this into a book. The other teachers in your room can read it along with you! It outlines all the major components of prepping for the “Montessori Final Exam”!
Spring Tea Invitations (M): Print onto construction paper or photo copy onto construction paper. Set these up like a pin punching work! Once all pieces are punched out, have children glue the components together and bring home to their invited guest. Have a vase available in the classroom for them to place their RSVP leaf into!
16. Spring Tea Menus (M): Print out master copy. Using white out, white tape or extra pieces of paper, cover items that are not being offered. Copy onto cardstock. Children can cut menu items and paste them. Leave these on the place setting during the tea.
Write Your Own Place Cards (M): Print on card stock and cut on grey line. Children can fold along yellow line and write their guests name in the open spot. Place at the top of the table setting for Spring Tea.
Placemat Template (M): Print onto cardstock and laminate. Use these during meals, lunch and have them be the guide for each seat during Spring Tea. Children can set the tables accordingly.
Note: Please use these materials in your classrooms and homes but send your friends our way to purchase their own. We work hard to create beautiful handmade materials which help support our families.
